There's nothing like early morning in the desert. Dave and Francie Kipling know that well—as does Maverick, their energetic Weimaraner. And so you'll often find the three of them walking along the trails of Oro Valley soon after sunrise. In one direction they savor a panorama of the Pusch Ridge Mountains; in the other, the city they call home, just coming to life. From the Midwest to the Southwest
Dave hails from Peoria, Illinois. And while Francie was born in Glendale, California, she actually grew up in Minnesota and Missouri. Separately, these Midwesterners migrated to the Southwest and met in Tucson while attending the University of Arizona. They got married in 1976 and relocated to Phoenix two years later. In both cities, they delighted in the openness, warmth and stark beauty of the desert. They also responded to an exceptional service opportunity, co-directing for eight years a Christian camp for underprivileged children, located between Tucson and Phoenix. Now rooted in Tucson and partners in a prosperous business, they continue to serve their communities in a variety of areas.

Prime Time with Family
When they're not handling important matters for their real estate clients, Dave and Francie devote prime personal time to their family. Sons Matthew and Mark live in the area and visit frequently. Daughter Megan, a gifted vocalist and pianist, is a student at northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Family activities—at home, at church, out in the desert and elsewhere—are central to the Kiplings' lifestyle. As a couple they share a love of history. Reading biographies, visiting museums and traveling are among their favorite avocations. A recent family vacation to Hawaii was one of their highlights.
